It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Scott Ford announces his passing on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the age of 58 years. Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Lisa, his children, Christopher (Elizabeth) and Stephanie (Derek), and his two grandchildren, Benjamin and Claire. Scott will also be fondly remembered by Brad, Reba, Barry (Sherry) and Larry. He is predeceased by his parents, Gene and Mary Elizabeth.

Scott’s accomplishments were many; he was owner of Ford Painting for 27 years, and was an avid hunter and car enthusiast. He was an active member at Piney Knob Baptist Church and the Gilkey Ruritan Club. He cherished family time over anything else and was loved by all in his community. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Visitation will be held at Crowe’s Mortuary, 118 US Highway 74A Rutherfordton on Monday, January 22 from 5:00-7:00p.m. A Funeral Service and Interment in memory of Scott will be held on Tuesday, January 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Piney Knob Baptist Church, 1534 Piney Knob Rd Rutherfordton, with Pastor Michael Brown and Pastor Ben Parton officiating.
