Condolence From: Joyce Duckett
Condolence: I met Helen at Union Mills learning Ctr. She shared her love of music with us on Friday nights. She would also volunteer at our festivals. She was such a sweet person so glad to have known this special friend.

Condolence From: Kim Alexander
Condolence: I was a new employee and a new resident to the Isothermal region and the college. Helen made an effort to make me feel important and was caring to make friends with me. I smile thinking abut how she was the only one brave enough to make a northern girl feel at home. I will never forget that and love her dearly for her unbiased and pure heart. The lord has saved her and has her next to him because she is so special!

Condolence: Helen Anne and I went to Brevard High School together and had an apartment after we graduated. We had many enjoyable times together. Everytime I hear the song "Angel from Montgomery" I think of her strumming her guitar, with her beautiful long blond hair and blue eyes, singing her heart out! I am so thankful that I took time to go see her recently. She was truly a loving presence in my life and will be sorely missed by many. I am very glad to know that she is in a better place and free now. Many blessings to all the family and close friends in this time of loss. Hugs, Heidi

Condolence From: Dr. Bob Morgan
Condolence: I would like to pay tribute to the life of Helen Stewart who was a member of the Praise Band at Green Hill Baptist Church where I am a member. I admire her as a mathematics professor and musician, but more importantly as a very kind, caring, and loving human being. During her battle with cancer, she has shown us truly what it means TO WALK WITH GOD. She has taught us all a wonderful lesson in how to live and how to die. May she rest in peace after a life well lived.
