Alice Rosemary Lovelace (Black)

Alice Black Lovelace, 82, of Forest City, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at Mission Hospital. A native of Highland Park, IL, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Anza Black. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Lovelace of the home; son, Michael Dills of Chesapeake Bay, VA; daughters, Vickie Marks of Forest City, Cindi Crowe of Spindale; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Darlene Siegele of Chicago, IL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Crowe, great grandson Hunter Price, and a sister, Evelyn Rietz.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Smith Grove Baptist Church, 185 Horn Bottom Road, Forest City, NC, with Rev. Terry White and Rev. Wayne Toney officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
