Mildred Jean  Parker (Waters)
Mildred Jean Waters Parker, 70, of Spindale went to be with the Lord Monday, August 21, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Mal and Frances Price Waters. She was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church and a retired carrier for the Daily Courier.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Raymond Rupert Parker of the home; daughters, Pamela Parker Powell (Richard Jones) of Simpsonville, SC, Lisa Bivens and husband Charlie of Spindale, Kimberly Dawn Parker of Spindale, Kristy Dickinson and husband Brad of Greenville, NC; son Joshua Raymond Parker of Spindale; grandchildren, Kristan Burnett, Amanda Burnett, Brandon Parker, Malachi Grossman, Charlie Bivens Jr., Dallas Bivens, Kayla Pruitt, Madison Pruitt, Austin Pruitt, Mackenzie Dickinson; great grandchildren, Emily Gregory, Anna Leigh Parker, Kylie Loftin, Zachariah Bivens, Allyson Gibson, Bentley Bailey, Piper Parker, Abigail Coyier, Lillian Gibson; brothers, Don Price and wife Luane, Steve Waters and wife Becky, Grady Lee Waters and wife Doris; sisters, Peggy Morgan and husband Lloyd, Judy Waters (Charlie Guffey) and caretaker Kathy Waters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Waters and her grandmother, Minnie Price.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, August 25, 2017 at Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Leon Brown and Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 in the sanctuary of the church.
