Obituary for Ola Marie Whitlock (Wall)
Mrs. Marie Wall Whitlock age 81 of Missouri Street in Spindale NC died April 17th 2017 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late M.B. Wall and Cordie Blanton Wall. She was the widow of Robert E. Whitlock of Alabama, who died in 1968. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was active in the Kathleen Henson’s Sunday School Class. Marie worked for Tanner Company for 35 years.
Marie was preceded in death by sisters Hilda Wall Hardin (Lloyd), and Helen Wall Smith (Palmer), brother Boyd Wall (Gladys). She is survived by a daughter Sherree Whitlock Buff Bishop, three grandsons Casey Buff, Curtis Buff, and Bobby Buff. Granddaughter Carla Bishop Melton (Braxton). Greatgrandchildren Lily Buff, Eli Melton, and Sidney Buff. Nieces, nephews, kinfolks and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00PM on April the 24th 2017 at Crowes Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12-1PM. Rev. Scott Moneyham will officiate. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
