Condolence From: Marian Smith
Condolence: I first met Karl in l985. He was such a pleasant, nice, kind man who was a very good friend to my sister and brother-in-law for many, many years. He was a pallbearer at my mother's funeral, and he sent me a Christmas card each year with his best wishes. He was a brave soul who forged on despite his health problems. I feel sure that our Lord welcomed him into open arms, and may Karl rest in peace.

Condolence From: Robin Hardin and family
Condolence: Karl was a kind and gentle spirit. I was so fortunate to have him as an uncle. I recall playing miniature golf with him and his sly, understated sense of humor. I know Karl was a spiritual man and his church friends were good friends and traveling companions. I regret not being there to say goodbye in person but I know Heaven will be a better place with Karl in it. Love you Uncle Karl.

Condolence: Dear Carl,
What a joy for you to be in the presence of our Lord! We will remember you for your humble and kind personality and especially for your courage in ordering and letting us sample your alligator meat at the restaurant in Beaufort, SC. Enjoyed all of our Fellowship Class trips with you! You will surely be missed by Pleasant Grove UMC.
