Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Preston Johnston can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Preston Lee Johnston
Preston Lee Johnston age 19 of Spindale NC passed away on July 15th as a hero saving two young boys from drowning. Preston was a 2015 graduate of RS Central. Left to cherish his memory are his father Richard Lee Johnston and stepmother Sharon Johnston, and mother Tammy Wellman and stepfather David; sisters Jessica Johnston, and Candace Kite; brothers Joseph Wilson and Christopher Harrison. Grandparents Irene Wyatt, Deborah Johnston, Bill Alley, and Debbie Alley. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on July 20th 2016 at Crowe’s Mortuary. Services will be held at 11:00AM on July 21st 2016 at Souls Harbor, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles Poole and Rev. Bill Alley will officiate.
