Guitars, Jesus, & Country-fried Steak

A few years ago, Eric told me he made a friend at work. As the work days went on,Eric would tell me about the weekly Bible studies that he and Scott attended and the interesting & lengthy conversations Eric enjoyed with him. Eventually they got on the subject of music. That's when I got to meet him because Eric brought him home. In exchange for Eric's guitar lessons, I would make dinner & coffee. One time I asked his favorite meal and he said country fried steak. I never made it before, and it was delicious! He was so sweet to our little boy and brought him stuffed toys. After Scott and Eric picked together, our talks were often late and about Jesus and what He has done. So it is sorrowful for us that our time on Earth eating, talking, and playing guitar has ended with such a kind man who had an enormous heart for the Lord Almighty. But we look forward to the day we can join him at the feet of our Saviour. Our prayers go out to all of his family. With love in Christ, Eric, Tina, Everett, & Dean Toombs
