David Johnson age 72 of Forest City, NC passed away on August 24th 2019 at his home. David was the son of the late Ernest William Johnson and Della Louise Harris Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Shanna Adrianse and Shelley Everhart (Shaun); Sisters Edna Ledbetter (Michael) of Boiling Springs, NC; Barbara Cooper (Phillip) of Shelby, NC; grandchildren Christopher “CJ”(Cami), Hayley, Kyra, Mackenzie, Raven, Lillian, and Angelina; great grandchildren Cailyn, and Charlotte; David served four years in the United States Airforce and was retired from Duke Energy; In retirement he enjoyed working at the Gilkey Convenience Center. A graveside service will be held on Thursday August the 29th at 11:00AM at Alexander Mills Cemetery, with Rev. Eugene Bumgardner officiating.
