My sincere and deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of Nancy. There is no one who was a greater professional mentor to me than Nancy. I owe so much to her for her wisdom and guidance over the years. She encouraged me and inspired me over and over and I am forever grateful. She was a true friend and mentor. Recently she was on my mind and I had done a little research to see if she was still living in the Lake Lure area. I started a letter to her when I heard of her passing. I am devastated that I did not get that letter to her. Although I told her countless times how much she meant to me, I would have loved to have done that one more time. She will always hold a treasured play in my heart. To those who are left behind, I know you are aware of how special she was and I feel certain you have dear memories to hold onto.
