Obituary for Evelyn Abrams (Sims)
Evelyn Sims Abrams, 95, of Rutherfordton, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at White Oak Manor Rutherfordton. A native of Rutherford County and daughter of Dave and Irene Sims. She was a homemaker and a member of Grays Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rev. Bill Abrams Jr. and wife Dianne of Stanley, NC; daughter, Barbara Abrams Buehring of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Amy Gamm of Tampa, FL and Angie Abrams of Pittsboro, NC; great grandchildren Amanda V. Gamm of Tampa, FL and Ashley N. Gamm of Tampa, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Abrams, one brother, Edwin Sims and sister, Mary Sue Frady.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Bill Abrams. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will be in Piedmont Baptist Church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
