Calma Gail McCluney Hammett, age 74, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on December 20th 2018. Calma was the daughter of the late C.T. and Reba Carver McCluney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Magel Casey. Left to cherish her memories are her brother Roger McCluney; and a number of nieces and nephews. Gail was a member of Spencer Baptist Church, and loved to travel. Her most recent travels took her to New York City with her church family. Services will be held on December 30th 2018 at 3:00PM at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating.
