Hazel Gilbert Howard, 84, of Forest City, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. and Maude Lee Honeycutt Gilbert. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Broad River Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, George Lewis “Bud” Howard, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Don Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
