Harold Vernon Butler, age 87, of Forest City, NC passed away on September 18th 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Harold was the son of the late JA Butler, and Lela Camp Butler. Harold was a Mason, and a member of Adaville Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Arvilla Bumgardner Butler; son Berry Franklin Butler; son Terry Vernon Butler; step-son David Stevens and wife Reba; step-son Norman Stevens; step-daughter Lola Carroll; step-daughter Lena McKinney and husband Tony; step-daughter Tracy Stevens Forrest; brother Jimmy Butler; sister Katheleen Arrowood; sister Patsy Searcy; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by his brother Billy Butler, and sister Irene McKorkle. Services will be held on Friday September 21st at 2:00PM at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Adaville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday September 20th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Crowe’s Mortuary.
