Obituary for Hilda Ann Whitmire
Hilda Ann Whitmire, age 71, of 1881 Big Island Rd. Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday at Holly Springs Assisted Living Home. Hilda was a native of Polk County, was employed as a nursing home activities coordinator and a CNA. She was a member of the Church of the Nazerene in Hendersonville and a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents William and Osa Aiken Whitmire and a beloved grandson Brandon Hoxit.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Lisa Bradley and Kym Potter, 3 grandchildren and a sister Marilyn Hudson of Mill Spring. She is remembered with love by a number of aunts, uncles, friends and other family members.
At Hilda’s request, no services will be held.
