Condolence: Miss Addie was a gracious Christian lady. She was homespun and wrapped in the love of family, God, and church family, friends, and neighbors. Visiting with her across the years was always a joy! Walking into her home was like coming home to one's they had known all their life. She was filled with joy and shared her joy with others! I would go over to her home many a day and jog on an old logging trail. There were those times when she would meet me after I had run the course and offer me a glass of water or tea. She was "Salt of the Earth" and everyone who knew Miss Addie, loved her dearly. I shall never forget her love for all people and for her "grandmotherly advice" she would offer this now retired minister. God Bless you Miss Addie as you enjoy your new home and the wonderful Lord who has chosen to bring you to His heaven! We'll see you there one of these days and what a grand time we shall have collecting and sharing the memories were experienced on God's Good earth!
