Addie Mae Carswell age 97 of Columbus, NC passed away on July 31, 2018. Addie was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Laura Taylor, her husband John Buren Carswell and a son Gary Carswell. She worked in textiles and was a member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is a son, Austin Carswell of Landrum, daughter, Jeanette Rickman of Mill Spring, daughter, Sandra Crain of Rutherfordton and a son, Nick Carswell of Spindale. Addie is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday August 3, 2018 at Pea Ridge Baptist Church, Polk County at 11AM with the Rev. Jeff Parker officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
