Howard Lamar Shehan age 86 of Rutherfordton NC passed away on June 25th 2018 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Howard was the son of the late Moran and Lillie Pilgrim Shehan.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara Winters Shehan; sons, Greg Shehan (Teresa) of Cherryville, NC, Frank Shehan (Becky) of Dallas, NC, Dwite Shehan (Marti) of Cherryville, NC, Chris Shehan of Rutherfordton; daughter Holly Lawson (Kevin) of Rutherfordton; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren. In addition to his parents Howard was preceded in death by his siblings Lionel Shehan, Bryant Shehan, and Sara Lee Rue.

Burial will be private with Rev. Ad Hopper officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
