Michael Terry age 74 of Hudlow Road passed away at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
A native of Rutherford County he is a son of the late Flay Terry and Reba Willis Terry and was a former employee of J & C Dyeing in Shelby, NC. Michael loved antique machinery and especially enjoyed “hit and miss” engines. He is survived by his companion Jackie Kiser Smith of the home, one daughter Dena Yarbro and her husband Fred of Kings Mountain, NC; one son Jeff Terry and his wife Nancy of Shelby, NC; four grandchildren Lauren Holmes, Patrick Terry, Michael Yarbro and Andrea Yarbro; two brothers, three sisters and a number of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6 PM until 7 PM, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Crowe’s Mortuary, 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.
