Elfriede Justine Womack 88, of Rutherfordton, passed away on May 17, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Germany, she was a daughter of the late Karl Michel and Erna Gundacke Shmitt.

She is survived by her sons George L. Womack of Mill Spring, Michael K. Womack of Rutherfordton, and Gerhardt Walter Lewicki of Canada; a daughter Silvia Marina Pfaff of Cleveland ,OH.; ten grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Womack; daughter Sonja Womack; infant son Renee Shmitt; infant daughter Linda Ann Womack.

At Mrs. Womack’s request there will be no services.
