Helen Hensley, age 82, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on March 13th 2018 at Oakland Living Center. Helen was the wife of the late Bob Hensley, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Dewey and Girlie Wilson Beheler. Helen was a graduate from King’s Business College and retired from the Board of Elections in Rutherford County. Left to cherish her memory are her son Ronnie Hensley and wife Renee; daughter Becky McKelvey and husband Tommy; grandchildren Michelle Davis of China Grove, NC; Brad Hensley and wife Kendra of Randelman, NC; Courtney Houser and husband Clint of Rutherfordton; and Zach McKelvey of Rutherfordton; great grandchildren Austin Davis, Carter Hensley, Owen Davis, Conner Hensley, Canaan Houser, and Chloe Houser; Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday March 16th 2018 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 563 Pleasant Hill Church Rd, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. William Swink and Rev. Ron Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday March 15th 2018 at Crowe’s Mortuary.
