Juanita Alexander Harris, age 81, of 311 Squirrel Den Rd. Rutherfordton passed Monday January 1, 2018 at her home.
She was a native of Polk County, retired from the Veterans Administration, an avid reader and loved being at home taking care of her house and yard.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Worth McDonald Hill and Mary Wanda Bishop Hill and her sons William Samuel and Austin Wayne Alexander.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Bobby Joe Harris of the home, grandson Jason Wayne Alexander and great granddaughter Victoria Gayle Alexander of Atlanta. She was blessed with 9 brothers and sisters in laws who she thought of as her own siblings.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday January 6, 2018 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church in Saluda. The family will receive friends following the service.
Thank you to all of the health care workers who have helped Juanita and Bobby Joe during this difficult time. You were a blessing to them and our family.
