Obituary for Billy Ray Sprouse
Billy Ray Sprouse, 59, of Spindale, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Rutherford County, he is the son of Kenneth Ray and Helen Day Sprouse. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was employed by Rutherford County as a waste manager at a convenience center.
Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Wanda Bright Sprouse of the home; daughters Julie Givens of Forest City and Sarah Paul of Charlotte; son, Benjamin Sprouse of Spindale; grandchildren Thomas, Kaylee and Victoria; sister, Sharon Hughes.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC, 28043.
