Condolences

Condolence From: Mike Spillars
Condolence: It was a sad day for me when I learned of Jerry's passing. My memories of Jerry always make me laugh and smile. He was a ham and a clown. Like others I have knots in my head from being hit with his fingers. We had great fun at the Spindale House,Spindale Pool, playing basketball and riding around town in the Greenbriar. Love you Jerry! RIP

My prayers go out to Jerry's family.

Condolence: Brenda and Brandon, I only found out that Jerry was ill on the day he passed away. I am truly sorry and will miss our occasional fishing trips together. When we did manage to get together it was always a real joy. I know how much he loved you both, how much he worried about you. Guys talk about all sorts of things while floating around waiting for the fish to bite. I know he was so proud of both of you. I sure am going to miss the big lug!If you ever find yourself down towards the coast, please let me know.

Condolence: Jerry and I grew up in Spindale and enjoyed a lot of fun times at the Spindale House and Spindale Pool and basketball games. He found great joy in aggravating the poo poo out of me. He especially liked to pop me on top of the head. It seemed to bring him great joy!!! He made me laugh and laugh and laugh. My prayers are with his children, Allen and Laura, and all the loved ones. RIP dear friend!

Condolence: Jerry was my former brother-in-law and Dad to my niece, Laura, and nephew, Allen. My condolences to you. Cherish the good memories of your Father. Jerry was fortunate to have a fine family....sister, Susan and parents Emma and Charles.....'salt of the earth', Spindale folks.

Jerry was a collegiate level basketball player after playing for Coach Lyles and the Hilltoppers! Later, he was a home run hitter for some very good regional softball tesms.

Rest in peace and sympathy to the family.
Jim

Condolence: I have known Jerry since elementary school - both of us enjoyed playing basketball at RS Central in the late 60's. He will certainly be missed. I have known both Allen and Laura since infancy and truly love them - warm thoughts and prayers for both of you.
