Hoyt William  McEntyre
Hoyt William McEntyre age 86 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on October 29th 2017 at White Oak Manor of Tryon. Hoyt was a retired diesel mechanic and worked for Thompson Contractor for 45 years. Hoyt was the son of the late Richard and Clementine Humphries McEntyre, and the husband to the late Edith Roddy McEntyre. Left to cherish his memory are his children Vicky Lincoln, Linda Smith, Carol Garrett, and Bobby McEntyre; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents and wife, Hoyt was predeceased by his daughters Brenda Thomason, and Sandra Sprouse; and by his siblings Vassey Horne, Paul McEntyre, Leon McEntyre, and Don McEntyre. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday November 5th at Crowe's Chapel with the Reverend Jack Crain officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
