Frances Evelyn Wilkie Henson 89, of Forest City passed away on Monday October 23, 2017 at her home. Born November 3, 1927 in Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Grace Rhoney Wilkie. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Loyad Henson, a son Donald Bruce Henson, one grandson Brian Keith Roach and a great grandson Austin Raines. Frances worked for Rutherford County Schools and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters; Lois Dobbins, Rita Parker, Kathy Hamrick and husband Paul, two sons Larry Henson and Ricky Henson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and a brother, Cyrus Wilkie Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday October 26, 2017 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. George Whitmire officiating. Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Crowe’s Funeral Home.
