Phyllis Tribble Forrest, 78 of Union Mills passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Oak Grove Healthcare. She was a United States Postal Clerk in the Union Mills Post Office.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of more than 50 years Paul Ervin Forrest; sons Ted Taylor and wife Keri of WI, Phillip Forrest and wife Elizabeth of Rutherfordton and daughter Paula Forrest Minnick of Union Mills. Phyllis has eight grandchildren; Ryan and Noah Taylor of WI, Joshua Forrest of Forest City, Callie and Travis Holland of Rutherfordton, Gracie Minnick of Union Mills, Justin Castle and Victoria Byers of Rutherfordton. Phyllis also has five great grandchildren; Mikenna, Masen and Alaneah Holland of Rutherfordton, Blakely Forrest of Forest City and Brayden Cash of Rutherfordton. Phyllis was preceded in death by a son Keith Taylor and her parents Philip Tribble and Margaret Tribble.
