Obituary for Scotty Everette Fowler
Scotty Everette Fowler, age 57 of 4490 Hudlow Rd. Union Mills, NC died Monday at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Scotty was a native of Rutherford County, a retired fork lift operator, member of Spencer Baptist Church, an avid NASCAR fan and a very accomplished carp fisherman.
Scotty was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Sisk Fowler, his parents Newell Richard and Juanita Ester Bridges Fowler, his brothers Michael and Billy Joe Fowler and sister Vicky Butler.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Brittany Butler and Shane Fowler; grandchildren Makinzie and Zack Butler and Madison Kirby and a brother Ricky Fowler.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Thursday August 17, 2017 at Spencer Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spencer Baptist Church.
Scotty leaves behind memories of being a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was always happy and brought great joy wherever he went. Scotty you will always be loved and remembered.
