Frances “Lucille” Eplee Martin, age 74 passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Park Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville Florida. Lucille was the daughter of Alonzo and Margaret Whiteside Eplee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Roy Eplee and wife Ruby G. Eplee; two sister in laws, Elaine W. Eplee and Marilyn G. Eplee.

Lucille is survived by three brothers, Edward Eplee of Bostic; Herman Eplee and wife, Shirley of Ellenboro; Donnie Eplee and wife, Trish of Chiefland, Florida; Two sisters, Bernice Weaver and husband Gene of Matthews, NC; Lois Lindsay and husband Ray of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Lucille graduated from RS Central High School. She retired from GEHR Industries as an Administrative Assistant in the personnel department.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11AM Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Perry officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Baptist Church.
