Shirley Ann  Wells (Webster)
Shirley Webster Wells, 84, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Pritchard and Virginia Davidson Webster. She was a retired real estate secretary and a member of First Baptist Church Rutherfordton.

Left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Keith Clark and wife Lori of Rutherfordton, Gary Webster of Robbinsville and his children Cassandra and Benjamin Webster of Atlanta, GA; step-daughters Debbie Wells Gourley and husband John of Greensboro and their children Sarah Kathryn Gourley and Carter Wells Gourley, and Susan Wells Alderman and husband Sam of Salem, VA; sister in law Dorothy Webster of Robbinsville, NC; cousin Dorothy D. Carnegie of Rutherfordton, and lifelong friends Reba Ford of Forest City and Lucille Gast of Rutherfordton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Wells, sister, Alma Jean Clark, and brother, Igeary Webster.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 17th 2017 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church Rutherfordton with Rev. Tim Marsh, Rev. Dean Baughn and Rev. John Perry officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:45PM prior to the service.
