Robert Hugh Sims
Mr. Robert Hugh Sims, age 63, of Tryon Road, Rutherfordton, NC passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 while being cared for at Rutherford County Hospice. A native of Rutherford County he is a son of the Late Sidney Robert Sims and Mary Elizabeth Thompson Sims. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Edward Sims and his sister Dana Elaine Sims. Left to cherish his memory are one nephew Eugene Sims, one niece Melinda Walker, one sister-in-law Shirley Sims, a number of great nephews, a number of great nieces, and a number of other relatives and friends. A graveside service and brief visitation will be held 10 AM Tuesday May 30, 2017 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County Hospice P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
