Obituary for Edna Mae Washburn (Toms)

Born May 31, 1929, Edna Mae was the 3rd gift given by God to Spurgeon and Lonnie Toms. Her parents and 4 siblings: John Henry, Dorothy, William Spurgeon Jr. and James preceded her in death.

While on this 87 year journey, Edna traveled and lived many places but she never met a stranger and always made a friend. Edna was known to many as a caring coworker, diligent homemaker, trusted business owner, superb cook/baker, selfless sibling, faithful church member, dear friend and a loving mother.

In her passing, she leaves Six Children; Herman, Bill, James (Sandra), Danny (Marjorie), Phyllis, and Teresa (Simon). Nine Grandchildren: Jonus (April), Armani, Lavon S. (Michi), Myron (Jessica), Alisha, Jamal, Lateshia(JJ), LaRae', & RaJen’e. Eleven Great-Grandchildren: Javon, Kiana, Armani Jr, Lavon A (Devony)., Xavian, Davonn, Myron Jr, Avery, August, Sidney, Sariah. One Sister: Mamie (Charlie) Morris. One Aunt: Ruth Toms, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Godchildren and Friends.
