Minnie Iva Queen Green, age 89, of White Oak Manor in Shelby passed away Monday. Iva was a native of Cleveland County, the daughter of the late V. L. and Ada McMurray Queen and a retired seamstress for Tanner Companies.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Bo Turner of Rutherfordton; daughters Diane Roberts of Shelby and Donna Cobb of Forest City; sisters Mary Dyer and Doris Dyer of Shelby ; and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Tammy Denise Turner, three sisters and five brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday April 1, 2017 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory is assisting the family.
