Patricia Hamrick Wangerien, 68, of Mooresboro, died Sunday, March 12, 2017. A devoted wife and loving mother she was a native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Barney Yates Hamrick and Mary Dorcas Hamrick. Patricia retired from Watts Regulator and later returned to school to receive her Medical Terminology degree after her love for working at Rutherford Hospital.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Richard Kenneth Wangerien of the home; daughter Karen Dotson of Rutherfordton; son-in-law Brian Dotson; and soon to be son-in-law Randy Taylor; brother Maurice Lee Hamrick; sister Mary Beth Hamrick; two nieces, Brianna Hamrick and Ashley Hellard; one nephew, Eddie Hellard; and one very adored great-nephew Blaiden Dobbins.
