Obituary for Shirley Adams (Owensby)
Shirley Smith Adams, 80, of Spindale went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Hospice House of Rutherford County. She was the daughter of Elmer Owensby and Nellie Vickers and was a retired CNA from White Oak Manor.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Betty McGee Flushing of Spindale; son Daniel Lee McGee of Sumter, SC; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Calvin Emmanuel Adams of Gastonia, and children Bobby McGee and David Edward McGee.
Memorial services will be held 5:30 PM Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Father’s Vineyard with Rev. John Mitchell officiating.
