Obituary for Lois Evelyn Vickers (Lynch)
Lois Evelyn Vickers, age 71 of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, March 10,2009, at Rutherford Hospital. She was a daughter of the late William Laxton and Lorene Wilson Lynch. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Oak Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from the cafeteria of RS Central High School.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Vickers of the home; son, Gary Vickers of Gilkey, NC; daughters, Rita Bratton of Green Hill, NC and Anita Maye Vickers of the home; brother, William Laxton Lynch of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Lillian McClellen of Forest City, NC; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 13, at 3 PM at Oak Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hollifield and Rev. Tom Frady officiating..Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 13 at the church from 1:30-3 p.m.
