Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Floyd Radford can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Your parents are now reunited in the presence of Christ. I am so sorry I did not get to Floyd’s service, I learned of his passing too late. I loved and enjoyed your parents, especially while attending Caroleen Baptist. Our parents’ generation was such an inspiring one in how to live a wonderful life devoted to each other and their children. Floyd and Betty were so very proud of all of you. I was so sad to learn of Floyd's death. Many happy memories of traveling out Kelly Road on my bike and stopping in to see Betty and Floyd. The memories of Floyd at church and how he always had a smile and a sincere greeting will remain with me.

You were blessed with great parents. It was always clear to me how special you were to both of your parents. Michael could do no wrong in their eyes. Of course all of your friends knew this was not the case. Ha!

Condolence: Hello Michael.. I just learned this evening of your father's passing and have notified my family. Each of us know how close our parents were through the years. Your mother and father were so endeared by Florene and A.D.. the four of them were true friends and were perfect models for us children. We are so sorry we didn't learn in time to attend the memorial service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. As well, I have fond memories of our friendship during our youth as well as those summers at Lake Lure. Your father was so proud of you and kept us informed of your achievements during their visits with Mom and Dad.. May God bless your family.
