Obituary for Rose Marie Garner (Fortsch)
Rutherfordton, NC
Mrs. Rose Marie Fortsch Eckert Garner age 86 of Holly Springs Retirement Center went home to be with The Lord on Monday October 3, 2016.
A native of Germany, Rose was a former employee of K-Mart and most recently an assistant at the pharmacy at Wal-Mart in Forest City, NC.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carol Eckert Skidmore of Selma, Al; son-in-law Terry Skidmore of Rutherfordton, NC; two grandchildren - Myriah Richerson and Dylan Skidmore; two great grandchildren - Jordan Richerson and Jayden Richerson, one brother - Otto Fortsch, Jr. of Germany as well as a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto And Rosa Fortsch.
A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship on Sunday Oct 9 at 2PM.
