Frances Lee McGowan Logue age 95 entered her new life on Friday April 29, 2016 while being cared for at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Cannon, GA; Frances spent her working years in textiles and was a resident of Soperton, GA prior to moving to Rutherford County, NC where she attended Wilson Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter Annette Dotson of Rutherfordton, NC; two sons – Ethen Logue and David Logue, Sr. both of Soperton, GA and eleven grandchildren.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents David and Deloma Steptoe McGowan, her husband Elmo Logue and two sons Roy and William E. Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday May 1, 2016 at Wilson Baptist Church 3617 Whiteside Road, Forest City, NC 28043 with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service.
