Ronald Dewey  Willis
Ronald Dewey Willis, 70, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Dewey and Lula Simmons Willis. He was a landscaper, served eight years in the Army National Guard, and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Paul Willis and wife Amber, Rodney Willis and fiancée Jennifer Howell, and John Willis; grandchildren, Drake Willis, Jordan Metcalf, Brittany Hill, Emily Metcalf, Jacob Willis, Savannah Willis and soon to arrive Josiah Mark Willis; sisters, Jane Watkins and Diane Thompson; and the mother of his children, Sharon Willis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Givens.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson and Rev. Paul Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Southern Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
