Mr. Lawrence Henry Patterson age 76 passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Charles George VA Hospice & Palliative Care.
Born in Detroit, MI; Lawrence was a member of the Cushman Club of America and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sallie Brock Patterson, daughter Bonnie Davis, daughter Sherry Howard and husband Gordon, grandchildren Will Davis, Cassidy Davis, Blake Howard and Brittney Howard, brother Archie Jay Patterson, II and wife Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents Archie Jay Patterson and Anna Hickmott Patterson; father-in-law Marvin Brock, mother-in-law Mattie Brock and son-in-law John Davis.
A memorial service will be held 10 A.M. Monday February 1, 2016 at the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC with brother-in-law Rev. Marvin M. Brock officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
