David Wayne King, age 65, husband of Barbara Jean Hamm King of Saluda, NC passed away Monday at his home. David was a native of Stoneham, Massachusetts; son of the late Gale and Dorothy Bahls King, retired LPN at Rutherford Health Department and a member of Rutherfordton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In addition to his wife Barbara he is survived by his children Tamera Barnes of Anchorage, Alaska and Jeremy King of Asheville; brother Bruce King of Syracuse, NY and sister Sharon Hamm of Nashville, Tn.; grandchildren Elijah, Tikvah and Malachi Barnes all of Anchorage Alaska.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Thursday at Rutherfordton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
