Nellie Ruth Harris, age 82, of Spindale passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at Mission Hospital. Nellie was a native of Buncombe County and widow of the late Joe Ben Harris Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Joe Ben Harris Jr., Glenda Brown, Janell Effler, Pauline Wills and Annette Allison ; grandchildren Myles Harris, Dawn Harris, Daniel Brown, Dustin Brown, Melinda Allison, Robbie Effler, Shane Wills, Misty Nicole Hicks, Tonya Harris, Scott Frady and Robert William Arrowood Jr.; great grandchildren Alexis Cheek, Bradley Cheek, Jason Hooper, Zoey Noel Brown, Lily Mayfield, Ivy Harris, Eiziah Harris, David Craig, Kaitlyn Smith, Erika Effler, Kayden Allsion, Taylor Hicks, Dakota Hicks, Alex Frady, Hannah Frady, Seth Frady and Vance Frady.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
