Grace Johnson Mooney, 81, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her home. A native of Waretown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Carrie Thibault Johnson. Grace was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jim Mooney of the home; daughters Kit Freeman, Teresa Mikrut, and Bobbi Dills; stepdaughter Sarah Saiya; and stepsons Thomas Mooney and Howard J. Mooney Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Hess Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
