Obituary for Jerry Michael "Mike" Wallace Sr.
Mike Wallace Sr., age 67, of Rutherfordton passed away Wednesday at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mike was a native of Rutherford County and owner of Cove Creek Barbecue. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Annie Barnes Wallace; sisters Jeanette Laughter and Betty Baynard.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Darlene McClellan Wallace; sons Jerry Michael (Jennifer) Wallace Jr, Casey (Tina) Wallace, Todd (Marsha) Wallace, Robert (Renee) Wallace and Daniel(Emily) Wallace, 14 grandchildren, a brother Donald (Margaret) Wallace, sisters Doris Keever and Phyllis Whaley.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday October 26, 2014 at Main Street Baptist Church in Spindale with the Rev. Rick Brewer and Rev. Terrell Dillingham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Main Street Baptist Church 327 E, Main St. Spindale, NC 28160
