Max Randall  Henson
Max Randall Henson age 71 of Henson Road went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 19, 2014 while being cared for at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, NC he was a son of the late Rodney and Zennie Randall Henson, a retired supervisor with Duke Energy, a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, former president of the Bessemer City Jaycees, a member of the Masons and an avid hunter and fisherman. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Margaret Woody Henson, one daughter Julie Harth, two sons Scott Henson and Greg Henson, one brother Ronald Henson, one sister Kitty Smith, five grandchildren Hunter Henson, Logan Henson, Tyler Harth, Carson Henson and Jada Henson, one great grandchild Aiden Henson and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Bud Henson. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday October 23, 2014 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Wilkins officiating. Concluding services will take place at Eternal Hills. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Crowe’s Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church 221 Sulphur Springs Church Road Forest City NC 28043.
