Ella Mae  Gee (Moss)
Ella Mae Moss Gee, 80, of Spindale, died Monday, September 22, 2014, at her home. A native of Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Blake and Viola Caldwell Moss. She was a retired textile employee and a member of First Baptist Church, Spindale.

She is survived by her sons, Walter Lee Gee of the home; Ricky Lee Gee of Spindale; daughters, Shirley Gee Rice of Rutherfordton, Pamela Gee Pitman of Raleigh; sisters, Lovine Moss, Ruth Sherer, Naomi Satterfield, Jackie Bagley, and Jewel Moss, all of Rock Hill, SC; brothers Haskell Moss and Jerry Moss, both of Rock Hill, SC; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Lee Gee, daughter Roxanne Gee Preston, and sisters Mary Moss Long and Cora Moss Campbell.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, September 25, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Spindale, with Rev. Charley Melton officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the church.

The family will be at the home of Walter Lee Gee on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
