Jeanette Mary Hammerstad (Rekowski)

Jeanette Hammerstad, age 75, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation Center. A native of Amherst, WI, she was the daughter of the late John and Susie Zdroik Rekowski. Jeanette was a retired sales associate with Wal Mart.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Bernice Williams of Forest City; nieces Mary Jenkinson of Arizona, Orliea Sanders of California, Alecia Gonzales of Illinois and Theo Musich of California, and a number of great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 21, 2014 at Crowe’s Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
