Obituary for Billy Wayne Conner
Mr. Billy Wayne Conner age 67 of Bobby McKinney Road went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 9, 2014 while being cared for at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. A native of Rutherford County; Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Mastercraft and Lowe’s. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Connie Conner Martin and her husband Jerry; three grandchildren – Chassidy Conner, Tiffani Martin and Genia Martin; one great granddaughter Destyni Humphreys; one sister Nancy Conner Spicer and a number of other relatives and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Hicks and Ethel Hall Conner, one son Gene Conner and one brother Bobby Conner.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday April 12, 2014 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Alley and Rev. Linda Perrigan officiating. Concluding services will be held at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Saturday April 12, 2014 at Crowe’s Mortuary.
