Sarah Ellen Vickers (Gladden)
Sarah Ellen Gladden Vickers age 82, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on January 10th 2014 at Willow Ridge Nursing Home. Sarah was the wife of the late James Vickers, and the daughter of the late George and Ellen Gladden. She enjoyed spending time at church and was also a cook for many of the local restaurants. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Johnny and Dean Vickers; sister, Mary Sue Craig; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son J.D. Vickers. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday January 15th 2013 at Wilson Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Troy Dorsey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.
